Submissions

Submit to Ecotone's 2008 Evolution Contest! [read the guidelines]

Ecotone welcomes unsolicited works of creative nonfiction, fiction, and poetry with a specific focus on the idea of place.

We follow The Chicago Manual of Style.

All manuscripts and correspondence regarding submissions should be accompanied by a self-addressed, stamped envelope (S.A.S.E.) for a response; no replies will be given by e-mail. We do not print previously published work. We assume no responsibility for delay, loss, or damage. For more information about literary magazines, consult directories such as The Writer's Market™ and The International Directory of Literary Magazines and Small Presses.

The staff of Ecotone is always looking for dynamic, original and boundary-breaking artwork which reflects inherent themes of the journal, such as borders, boundaries, the natural world, and the human world. Art submissions should be mailed to the address listed below. Please include a cover letter describing your background and work, as well as an updated resume. Art samples should be in JPEG format recorded onto a CD-R, readable in any computer. Please try to include at least 8 different samples. If you need additional information regarding art submissions, please email us at [design at ecotonejournal dot com]
