Bill Roorbach
Bill Roorbach writes fiction and nonfiction, and is the author of seven books, including a novel, The Smallest Color (Counterpoint Press, 2001), and a book of stories, Big Bend (University of Georgia Press, 2001), which won the Flannery O’Connor prize. He’s also an O. Henry Prize winner. Temple Stream (The Dial Press, 2005), his most recent book, won the 2006 Maine Book Award in nonfiction. He currently holds the William H. P. Jenks Chair in Contemporary American Letters at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Mass. He lives in Farmington, Maine.
