Ron Rash
Ron Rash teaches at Western Carolina University. He is the author of four novels: One Foot in Eden, Saints at the River, The World Made Straight, and Serena, a finalist for the PEN/Faulkner Award. His collection Chemistry and Other Stories was also a PEN/Faulkner finalist, and his most recent collection, Burning Bright, the title story of which appeared in Ecotone, won the 2010 Frank O’Connor International Story Award, the largest cash prize in the world for the form.
