David Kirby

David Kirby is the Robert O. Lawton Distinguished Professor of English at Florida State University and the author, most recently, of Little Richard: The Birth of Rock ’n’ Roll (Continuum, 2009). His poetry collection The House on Boulevard St. (LSU, 2007) was a finalist for the National Book Award.
